The ones I seem to find all seem to want up front costs which I really dont trust. Not looking to make a living from it, just to make life a little more comfortable. Thanks is advance to anyone that can help

I've been looking to and I feel like I'm stuck at a brick wall... There seems to be lots of little jobs out there but whenever I look in to them, they all have awful feedback and I don't want something thats too demanding. Hmmm :/

Depends really on what you are looking for, whether it is a real job that you want to do from home or just a little something in order to earn some pin money.

If its the former, you need to do some proper research and this forum is a good place to start.
If its the later, there are quite a lot of sites that you can frequent that you can earn some extra cash on.

I have a list that I can PM you if you like?

In my college days, I used to work as a freelancer in web design/development from home before starting a full time job. I earned a decent money back in the days but it wasn't a smooth run, let me tell you.

What kind of skill set you posses? I might be able to help you provided what you can (or can't ) do.

You can work for yourself, or you can work for someone else.

    1. Working for yourself

There are so many ads about how easy it is to work from home as a freelancer and all of them are lying! Thinking you can work for about a few hours a day and make some cosmic income is stupid. A decent income - naive. Enough to pay a few bills - optimistic. Coins - most probably. Practise proved it IS possible for some lucky people to make a good living out of it, but let's put luck aside. We're talking about actual work.
    1. Know what you want to do - everyone I know who want to work as freelancers stop here. To work for yourself on the Interment means that you have to engage the mass audience. It's not something you learn in college, but you need education.
    2. Find the right niche. Do a research and find out what is trending and if it's close enough to your own skill.
    3. Research - the competition, the target audience, the environment etc.
    4. "Probation period" - apply everything you know and found out, experiment, see what really works and try to get on the right track in order to get a firm grasp of what is going on on the Internet.

Be patient, because all this usually takes a few years. Only then, you might start seeing results. So, only if you're ready to invest all this time, a freelancing job may be good for you.

    2. Working for someone else
An actual online job may be:
    1. work for an actual employer through the internet (web design is most common)
    2. creating paid content for sites (articles, infographics, videos, presentations, etc)
    3. doing online surveys
    4. being a beta tester of some company's products (in my opinion the best choice)
