Wonga - Repayment plan

Hello all. So I've got some payday loans and have repayment plans on them. The biggest I owe is to Wonga. We agreed to pay £214 per month for 8 months £1712 in total. So far I've paid 4 months and now owe £856.
I might be in a position to pay this in full soon. I logged into Wonga and when I clicked pay now it says I owe £1213 today. Does anyone know why this is? My best guess would be they see it as I dont need a repayment plan anymore so readd the interest? I've already paid £856, if I settle the £1213 that will be just over 2k paid back, yet if I carry on paying for 4 more months it would be £1712 in total.
Should I ask Wonga? I don't want to tell them I could be in a position to clear it in case they turn round and cancel my repayment plan.
I was hoping to pay the £856 so it would free up £214 a month towards the others.
What's peoples thoughts on this?
Thanks
Dean

I think you'll need to clarify with the lender
Could be there system keeps accruing interest behind the scenes or there is a technical issue who knows
Hope you get answers, it seems scummy to want to charge you after this time without reason so you remind them of what was agreed under 'treating customers fairly'
Most of these lenders are happy to get their money back in quicker time so can be leient0 -
Hi,
I was repaying Wonga by arrangement before I went onto my DMP.
The agreement overrides the loan balance so look at your arrangement statement which should show dates due, amount to pay and balance (or it used to do).
While you're on an arrangement you need to contact the team of people you set it up with.
By all means do double check but that's what happened to me
hope it helps!

If you need letter I can post this up in a couple of days from when I had similar with another lender, sorry forgot to say earlier - it worked a treat for this type of situation back in 2011 more then happy to dig it out x0

So I spoke to Wonga on the phone today. It's fine. Basically it is only the £856 left to pay. The online account automatically adds the interest to whats owed incase any payment is missed and it's returned to normal.
