guarantor mortgage

I am a first time buyer looking to get on the property ladder and was hoping to get a guarantor mortgage with my brother as a guarantor.
But it looks like these are not anywhere near as readily available anymore.
I’d be very grateful if someone could offer any idea of how accessible these are now and what kind of criteria they have associated with them?
Thanks!

Nigh impossible. Affordability regulations have changed the game.0

The lender I've been working for will not agree new mortgages with a guarantor and for product transfers with an existing guarantor, affordability is assessed with a view to removing the guarantor.0
