I am in the process of buying a new house, the searches and survey are being done at the moment - however, I have just found out today that I am getting an unexpected pay rise. Should I be telling the mortgage company or is it irrelevant?

It said during the application process to notify them if my wages change but I wasn't sure if this was only in the case of a decrease?

I don't want to cause any delays, if unnecessary!

I wouldn't bother to be honest. It will only mean if you had a decrease in salary. And congratulations by the way.

I think you may mean irrelevant lol.
