Does anyone know what you can spend a tesco gift card on?

We got a £125 tesco gift card for switching to sky tv but it doesn't say with the letter or anywhere I can find online, what you can spend it on.
It would be great if it could be spent on groceries or it's probably just in the tesco direct area.
Has anyone had one of these in the past and knows?

There are 2 different types of Tesco giftcards. A link on the left hand side it says check your balance so if you put your details in it may give you more info.

Normally you can use them online or in store. The only exclusions are the usual tobacco, lottery, baby milk up to 6 months and gift cards.:)0
