County Court summons for 2006 loan

Hi

I have today received a County Court summons for a loan taken out in 2006 and which was 'assigned to the claimant' in 2013.

I thought that after 6 years a debt could not be enforced in the Courts?

Can anyone tell me what I need to do please?

When did you last acknowledge the debt? It's 6 years from acknowledgement.

When did you stop payments to the loan? or last write to the creditor/debt collector to acknowledge the debt?

you need to confirm the above

Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
