How long do you have before the birthday? I have seen it somewhere major, but can't think where.

Alternatively (and here's a long shot) PM me if you are in the Black Country and I'll tell you a shop that sells the pear variety too, which is even better.

Also, if you get desperate, it's stocked in my local Wetherspoons pub, so maybe that means all Wethspoons pubs will do it.

    IKEA sells it.

No really......I saw it for sale in the food shop at the exit of Ikea last week. They only had cans, and there were two versions...

    non-alcholic for 50p

    or alcholic for 90p

and the cans are very similar :D

I have bought in Tesco and Sainsbury's too. Yum , pear cider. Don't know if the offer is still on but it was on offer in Tesco bout a fortnight ago think it was 1.50 reduced from about 1.90.

IKEA sells it - though not always in stock - the non alcoholic tastes 200 times nicer than the alcoloic one.

Sainsburys sell it - though the Maguires Pear Cider (Koppaberg is also Pear Cider) is again much, much nicer

i found that the maguires was a lot sweeter and i preferred the st helier that's sold in sainsbury's as it tastes more like the kopparberg.

thanks guys, his birthday is saturday, i got a random email off a colleague cos we are all stumped. he drinks the summer fruit one which is notoriously hard to find outside of weatherspoons pubs, maybe my only option is to go down at dinnertime and see if they will sell me some at bar price unopened
last time he got some was at lidl, tried one local branch that didn;t have it, am gambling on another, tesco haven't got it, he told me ages ago he got looks of bemusement when he asked

Sainsburys have it. I think it's on special offer at the moment as hubby was looking at it on an aisle end.
Here I go again on my own....
