LoanZoo & 1loandirect

I foolishly went onto these sites merely to look at loan options & did not realise there would be a charge for doing so. However since then I have contacted both these companies initially via email to which I did get a reply saying they would refund my fees. Since exchange of 2/3 emails I now get an automated reply with an 0330 number for customer services only to be presented with a recorded message.
Since all of this has been going on I have now been debited not only the full fee of £54.99 by both of the above companies but also since trying to this money back debited again twice at £4.99 for each company on both 30th May & now today 30th June.
I cannot get any response at all & would like some help rather urgently with this matter so I can at least try & get all my money back.
In the meantime I will have to cancel my debit card so these companies can no longer take money from my account.
HELP!

You'll have to cancel the CPA's not your debit card (cancelling that won't cancel the continuous payment authority).

You were charged because you entered your card details not because you went onto the site. You will need to read the T&C's with regards to how to get a refund, it will most likely need to done via a letter and post it.

Waste of time canceling the card as already been pointed out, can tell the bank what happened.

In future use a reputable lender eg your own bank or if its a short term loan then Wonga.
