This may seem like a strange one, but does anyone use a hair perfume?
I really like my hair to smell nice, but it seems as soon as I was it at night, the following morning it doesn't smell of anything. I don't want to use dry shampoo, I was thinking more of a mist that actually works and will make my hair smell lush all day long, or am I asking too much?

I've always spritzed my perfume into my hair as opposed to on my skin.
I remember an Aunt telling me to do this years ago because perfume has alcohol in it, which dries the skin. Don't know how much truth is in that, but I've always sprayed it in my hair.0 -
Some of the higher end perfume houses do make perfume for hair. It has conditioning things in it.
Do not spray normal perfume on to your hair, the alcohol will damage your hair. I know your hair is really just dead, but would you put rare alcohol on it?? Then don't put perfume on it.0 -
Can you find a leave-in conditioner you like the scent of?
Alternatively, a longhair friend I know cossets her hair with a gentle smooth of coconut oil & she adds drops of essential oils for high days & holidays. (Mulled wine & pine tree in December - glorious!)0 -
Angel perfume range used to do a hair mist which was much nicer than the perfume!0

I had a hair 'perfume' a few years ago from the Body Shop. It was called 'Fresh hair' I think. I liked it, don't know if it's still around. Are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation? :cool:0

If you like the smell of bubblegum, Aussie do a leave in hair conditioner/protector that is very light, won't weigh hair down and the smell lasts. If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0

Just wanted to say thank you all for your replies and that in the end I opted for Lush Happy Happy Joy Joy.
It is gorgeous and really does last in the hair for a couple of days, only downside is that is expensive but a girl is aloud a treat, right?
