I have approved mortgage from lender for £150K. But seller has now pulled back. Can I use this mortgage to purchase different property? This offer is valid for another 5 months.

The reason seller pullback is actually mortgage broker, so do I have to stick with same mortgage broker in case I look for other properties on approved mortgage?

It would be easier if you stuck with the broker you have and you can look for other properties but would have to pay for another survey.

What was the problem with the broker?

cut long story short, he was actually willing to sell his own house to me, found another buyer before I got my mortgage approved and ran away.

So basically he left me in middle, I have offer in principle but no property, and have no clue what to do next.

I don't want to lose this chance as I already have paid alot to him for his services.

I don't mind paying another survey fees, could anyone please refer me any advisor who can help me out?
