Hi, I'm just wondering if any of you do micro tasks for crowdflower elite? This is the new working platform for tasks that don't need to be accessed through 3rd party sites (e.g., swagbucks). You can access tasks directly from their web page.
I've only just registered and completed the first 3 induction tasks. I've received 100%. However there are no further tasks available for those like me without a badge (levels 1-3). And I can't earn a badge until I've completed over 100 tasks.
Any advice on how to proceed and complete tasks?
Thanks money savers!

Bit of a shame that there haven't been more replies, as I think a lot of people use the original 3rd party access to crowdflower. I'd just assumed more people would be using the elite version. If they were it would help to get an idea of realistic earning potentials e.g. time spent to earn x amount.
I've emailed crowdflower too to see if they can help. I'll update when/if I hear back.0 -
I use Crowdflower via Clixsense and of late they have been absolutely rubbish.
Despite completing over 25,000 tasks for them, and earning over $2,500 on one of the three platforms I've used to complete their tasks I'm currently not allowed to access any of the better jobs, ranked by levels from 1-3, the same for thousands of other contributors.
How did you get invited to join Crowdflower Elite?
I think it would make more sense to move contributors that complete lots of jobs over, rather than allowing newbies to become part of the 'elite' but that is Crowdflower all over. They allow foreign workers with poor language skills to write test questions and they have error after error after error of late, most of which they take months to reply about when you raise a ticket.
I take part in other parts of the Crowdflower platform that I can't mention online, for contractual reasons, so this could prevent me from being invited to the Elite, but then again I know many high contributors, including 1 of the top 10 all time contributors on Clixsense, and no-one I know has been invited as of yet.
With regards to time vs money that isn't something you can put a price on. I've made 10 cents per task when you break it down as an average but many of these tasks took seconds to complete, others took minutes and were worth considerably more than 10 cents. My best day ever I made around $180 if I remember correctly, but then I've had days when there haven't been tasks around that allow me to make even 1/10 of this.
Crowdflower won't offer you any genuine statistic on how much money you can make per day, week, task or anything else as the amounts vary so much from task to task, based on what the companies and individuals using the platform require and want to pay as a base rate per task.

Hi Katy, sorry to hear about the problems you've had with crowdflower. I got asked to sign up after I completed a task on swagbucks and got directed to the elite webpage. On that page it did say that over the next few weeks they are manually moving everyone over to the badge system and will put them onto the badge that matches their accuracy level and task variation. So I think you will eventually have access. My problem is I won't qualify for level 1 until I complete over 100 tasks, maybe I could try doing them via Starbucks?
Could you post back on here if you do get moved over, I'd be interested to see how you find it and how it compares to previous tasks.0 -
Katy - you don't need to be referred to join CrowdFlower Elite. I signed up after reading about it on another forum (http://elite.crowdflower.com/?view=register). I already complete tasks on Clixsense and Neobux so just used the same email address that I use for the CrowdFlower dashboard and it automatically linked the accounts together.
Tasks are worth slightly more through Elite and minimum payout is $2 (Paypal).
I now just need CrowdFlower to get their act together so I can complete some of the higher level tasks again!Operation House Move £11993.60/£25000 (47% achieved)

It's fine, no worries.
Everyone has been manually moved over the badge system, a few months back, I've had this error before and last time it took somewhere around 3-4 months to get sorted if I remember correctly.
You could earn your level via Swagbucks, Neobux, Clixsense etc. Good luck to you
I will join up to Crowdflower Elite now then, thanks to larlie for posting the linkThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Hey everyone!
I just registered today @ crowdflower elite;I registered with the same email but it didn't link my accounts
However,
I have all 3 level badges on ClixSense & Neobux (also on FusionCash but I don't do tasks there anymore) -
and I have exactly ZERO badges on CF elite site.
Also, if I try to open potential tasks it says
"You don't meet the qualifications for this task.
Many of our tasks require that you have special qualifications before you can work on them. It seems you don't quite have all of the qualifications this task requires."
I was wondering if anyone else had run into this, or a similar, snafu?0
