Just received my CCJ

Hi
I received my County Court Judgement dated 20/6/14 via the nice people at Mortimer Clarke Solicitors. I don't remember however receiving the claim form from the Court. Do I just phone the court to confirm. If I didn't receive it what does that mean?
Also the CCJ amount is £1700 more then the the actual debt. The CCJ states 'and interest to dated of judgement'. This sounds a bit excessive to me.
I'm hoping someone could help as starting to get very nervous.
Thanks very much

What do you mean "I don't remember receiving the claim form"? Is there a reason why you may not have, does a lot of your post go missing? or have you recently moved?
You aren't disputing the actual debt, just the amount? When did you last have a statement saying how large the debt was?
Do you have any other debts? If yes, are you making payments to these?
How large is this debt and how much can you afford to pay to it a month? Do you have any assets eg a house with equity?0 -
What longtermplanner says! That's about what I was going to ask.
If you received the judgement, how come you haven't received the original claim form a few weeks ago.? If it's gone missing, speak to the court and see what they say. That would be my first port of call.I'm Debt Free :j 2/09/2013
