Tesco DAB Alarm Clock Radio £10

Picked up one of these yesterday in a Tesco. Very pleased with it at next to nothing £10.
It looks a lot like a traditional clock radio but has a DAB digital radio so the clock is self setting, has FM too. Works fine, DAB radio locked in dozens of stations and sounds adequate - for a clock. Display is big and easy to read. Some reviews said it was too bright but it dims down itself if not touched after a while and is fine.
Has two alarms, found very easy to set, like most DAB radios it shows the station name and the date, also can be set for different times on weekdays and weekends.

No problem
When switching on the DAB radio for the first time it will scan for all stations available which takes quite a while, you will see ">" symbols going across the bottom and the number of channel found to the right increasing. Let it finish in peace as it doesn't like being interrupted. Once indexed it will flip through stations instantly in future.
You can even set Alarm 1 and Alarm 2 for different volumes so loud on workdays, gentle on weekends... hopefully!European for 3 weeks in August, the rest of the year only British and proud.0 -

Got mine today - well done to Tesco for express delivery on an order placed on a Sunday afternoon.
Very pleased. Bit smaller than I expected, but fine as on a bedside table, and display is a good size. Easy to set up, in fact it seemed to do it pretty much itself once plugged in, including setting the time. Fantastic value for a DAB radio.
Thanks again OP.It is a good idea to be alone in a garden at dawn or dark so that all its shy presences may haunt you and possess you in a reverie of suspended thought.
