    Don't overpay it till you are on a very secure financial footing. Your money could go elsewhere and reduce the likelihood of you needing another PDL. If you go 6 months without needing a PDL then made consider overpaying it, otherwise get some saving done, build up some money towards a deposit.

    Depending on exactly which student loan system you're on, your interest rate could be very low i.e. overpaying will be COSTING you money. You'd be better off saving it, not getting more payday loans and having a higher deposit sooner.
