Any questions?
Basically if you are over 21 and can drive, you COULD become a taxi driver......(subject to certain conditions as always)
The open road, the freedom, the money..... :j:j:j:j:j

How much is the insurance for a new driver?
How much can you typically earn on average?0 -

Someone sensible!
Insurance is (as always) dependent on age, experience and how long youve held a badge if you intend owning your own car, for a 100% newbie its often cheaper to drive for someone but a mate of 40 years old with a new badge has just been quoted £3200 for fully comp on a Mondeo
This of course can be spread over 10 months
I pay £950 after 6 years and have protected no claims bonus and £10M public liability as required for my school contract, which i won as an independent (i.e. not through a base), my school run is worth £350 a week, I take £400 cash for 3 days base work For that I rent a radio at £20 a day, those who work nights are probably taking £250 a shift0 -
Could I say im only trying to help, times are hard, jobs are hard to come by, taxi driving has no restrictions by age, sex, colour or creed, if you arent interested fine, but a job is a job....0
