sorry im still fairly new to all this. I have not defaulted but have been thinking the only way out for me is probably to start defaulting and go down the same route

    is default same as ccj?

hi there Im new to this too, no they are not the same thing, defaulting is where u dont keep up the original payments and they send u a letter saying u have defaulted. A CCJ is a county court judgement where a magistrate looks at your finances and works out what u can afford to pay back which the creditor has to accept and cannot ask for any more ( i think) there are a lot more qualified people to advise u than me but that is my understanding ;)

Had replies from Egg and Lloyds tsb saying that they understand my situation but are unable to accept my f & f offers. Lloyds said they want full amount but are happy to continue with reduced payment arrangement, Egg say they would require a figure in excess of what I offered, so will be phoning them in the morning to see what they will accept

I have decided to claim my charges back from Lloyds (I am no longer with them) if they want their full amount I will see what I can get out of them to pay them back with ha ha

    keep you posted
