Bed bought from Carpetright. Was chosen at the same time as the carpets. First delivery was of a broken one so it did not leave the lorry. Awaiting a replacement.
Problems with carpet order given to show aggro already experienced. 'Off cuts' amounted to 3 Fiesta boot-loads with seats down. And yes, decent carpets and underlay are expensive. Hope that answers the comments. Perhaps you have all been more fortunate than I.

Your post is very confusing. Why do you need Carpetright to give the go ahead for a bed delivery ?0

Carpetright sell beds.
I don't understand why carpets and all the rest of it had to be mentioned if the post was to do with the non delivery of a bed.???
Tesco sell blow up beds for around a fiver, you could always pass it on to a charity shop when you've finished with it.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

People get mad when carpet right don't Hoover all the bits up as it's messy after it's been fitted, but it's best to let the carpet settle for 6-8 hours as the Hoover can lift and wrinkle it.
I did some market research with them recently and this was a topic.0 -

Carpetright use independent fitters. As they don't have there own!!
I had bought a carpet from them and the fitter was brilliant. And yes he did leave the off cuts for me to put in the bin. Hardly a big thing to chuck them in the bin.

Whats the big deal about having to hoover ? I love hoovering. And ironing. I'm pleased it's not just me that doesn't understand the post
Do Carpetright sell "megabucks" carpets ?0 -
I think the OP is moaning about a broken bed being delivered and not inspected first - this sort of problem is common and not specific to Carpetright.
Second complaint (I think) s that there were lots of offcuts. It may have been measured incorrectly but probably not. There are often quite big lumps of carpet wasted because of the room shape. If it was fitted together like a jigsaw there would be even more complaints - the less joins the better.0 -
We have just had carpets fitted in the whole house from carpetright and they were excellent. Great quality carpets, ( unexpectedly reduced in sale by £400 at the last minute top quality underlay and a 3 man team of fitters took about 3 hours to do the job. They made an excellent job of the stairs too. We are very pleased with them.0

But Carpetright don't employ the fitters.
Had they caused a problem, you'd have suddenly found yourself on your own as they washed their hands of you.0
