Be patient. In the overall scheme of things a month now is hardly going to set the world alight.

  • I am 57 an will be clearing my mortgage this year!

Mine's stretched out to this venerable age as every time I moved up the ladder, I took out another 25 years or a term up to retirement date. I had to do this to get the largest mortgage I could, buying in an expensive part of the country on a single salary. Still, 57 is better than 67!

Good luck on your mortgage-free journeyShinner, it's well worth it!
