free software - ccleaner - cool cleaning program!

Its a great tool but a pain that they still use yahoo search toolbar. I use the program a lot but I forgot tonight about selecting it so when I found out I had to un-install it via un-install and reboot

I had used this in the past but it really mucked up the programmes on my computer- does anyone have any tips? I use Napster and it basicly deleted everything on Napster I had- I had to reload Napster from scratch and redownload all my music all over again! On top of that, 4.O.D was also wiped and had to be redownloaded....

Anyone else had anything similar or know how to load the cleaner without it wrecking so much?!

When you analyse, click the applications tab and you can choose which programs you want to be scanned

I never had any issues on all computers we have. I even use it on Vista 64 and its fine just the yahoo toolbar I forgot to select off tonight when I updated it

It was previously called Crap Cleaner,then changed to its current name.

Wouldn't waste my time with cCleaner to be honest. The programme makes out to do a lot, when in reality it just gives the impression that your pc has been 'cleaned.'

I'd much rather spend a few pounds on something like KDT RAM cleaner.

Just a thought...
