Wasnt sure where to post this so doing it here.

I applied for a new SKY connection via Quidco, but only £60 have been tracked and not the advertised £85. Has anybody else experienced this or have I done something wrong?

Quidco don't pay cashback on VAT or delivery charges so this might help you do the maths! - sally.

Not sure if VAT or delivery costs apply for a SKY connection. It is clearly advertised that every new connection get £85 cashback!

Same happened to me but just checked Quidco and it's now tracking £85.

Can anyone help please?

I'm trying to sign up to SKY through Quidco, but it keeps coming up with an error after I've entered payment details.

It then has a phone number to call SKY to see if my order has been tracked. I called them and spoke to someone who said that I was now showing as a prospective client and if I went through Quidco again, I wouldn't be entitled to the cashback as I'm no longer a new customer :mad: Has anyone had this??

I am having the same problem. Phone the number on screen and they just want you to sign up over the phone (no cashback). One salesman told me that because I was listed as a 'prospect', I could not sign up online; the next guy I spoke to was not aware of this. I then phoned a third time and was told SKY were having difficulty with their website and to try again in 24hrs.
I did wait, same result. Now trying to get a phone number (08702 404040?) where I can speak to someone who has actually heard of Quidco!
Infuriating or what! I'll keep you posted of my progress.

p.s. Spoke to customer services who said they can do nothing about it because I arrived at their website through a third party. When asked about a phone number/department that deals with affiliate promotions - no information available!

p.p.s Tried again tonight (30/7/07) and it worked - tracking £85 in Quidco.

Although I am not sure what do in my situation as I went through all the screens only to be told at the end that I failed the credit check. :mad:

I know there's nothing wrong with my credit rating. However, I have applied for two things in the last month - a new mobile phone contract (18/7) and BT line to go with the Sky broadband (switching from cable) (16/7). I do know that BT stuggled to find my address and did two credit searches.

I also know that a bank account application, not in my name but to my address, was declined last month (not the right thing to do but I shone the letter up to a light).

I'm halfway through the notice period for Virgin Media, but seems like I may have to stay with them for a bit longer.

I tried the same as d146895x by phoning up, and they said there had been problems with their system in the evening. A couple of days later I tried again and it worked, tracking in Quidco about 36 hours later.

I now have Sky TV fitted, with BB to be connected next week.
