Hi, I hope somebody can help me !
My husband and I are hope to extend our house, it's probably worth about £300k, and out current mortgage is £58k. He's full-time £45k, I'm part-time £13k.
I'm always in my overdraft (£4k - of which he doesn't know, I know it's shameful). Anyway we would want to remortgage for about £80k.
Because of my financial situation - could they refuse to remortgage us ? (we are with Nationwide).
Any help would be grateful!

You should tell him your financial situation because number one your married to him and number two if the mortgage is in joint names, he will find out when you go for the interview with your lender.
