Alternative to Clinique Even Better

I've been using foundation for a couple of years as it evens out the red patches on my cheeks but it's getting even more expensive now. I've tried a No 7 foundation that a friend recommended but wasn't impressed. Has anyone got a recommendation for a long lasting (I have to wear make up for work and they're very long, very busy, very public centred days) foundation that evens out skin tone and doesn't cost almost £25? I always finish off with MAC Studio Fix as powder so that helps to keep a smooth finish. I manage to get the MAC duty free as I work airside but sadly Clinique don't sell in 'my' duty free.

I've been on the hunt for a good foundation to cover redness from rosacea recently, I've tested so many and here's my conclusion.. estee lauder doublewear was the best for coverage... it's sweatproff and lasts for hours.. I tested it for 8 hours, . It is expensive though at 28 pounds. The cheapest best one I have found is the E.L.F (eyes lips face) mineral foundation powder, it is buildable and looks so natural. I bought it last weekend at an online 50% off sale. It was 5.95 and the sale took it down to 3 quid . It is a small pot but you don't use much at all and the colour was perfect for me. (fair) but they do a mix of colours for light/medium and datk that you can mix yourself too. I tried bare minerals, but it made me look cakey and orange, but the elf one doesn't, and it's soo much cheaper! It might be worth waiting for another sale, they have one about once a month. I will be buying the estee lauder one when I've got some money as it was great coverage, but it does feel a bit claggy on the skin, whilst the mineral stuff feels weightless and you forget you're wearing foundation. Their mineral blush is awesome too. oh and I am switching from a no7 one as it slid off in the heat and didn't cover my rosacea for long. I'm 43 by the way and the elf mineral foundation covers fine lines too! Many thanks to all who contribute on MSE0

I'm waiting for Kryolan Ultra setting Spray to arrive, which is used by makeup artists to set makeup.
Using a setting spray might be a solution ? Also, a primer for makeup to stick to ?0
