Give Nationwide a try.I am a mortgage adviser - MSE does not check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Edward how do you know they would fit Nationwide?
You really need to be careful throwing lender names around without knowing any details of posters.

@Modexy
I'm in a similar situation, just 4 month in a 6 month probation period myself and Mrs is in a 6 month contract, 1st month this month. Just finished speaking to an adviser from London and Country. He's looked at my situation and went out for quotes yesterday and this morning.
He mentioned that Nationwide wouldn't lend me as much as I need, Halifax seems to have no issue with the probation or Mrs' contract. He's sent me a 3.24% 2 year fixed deal (Halifax have a £995 arrangement fee and £250 further fee, which I need to get a clarification on)
Not sure if this helps.0 -
