Take loan now or wait? Help
Hi,
I am about to buy a new house and complete next Friday. My mortgage offer is in place and all going well.
The thing is I also want to take finance out on a car in September onwards.
Is there a chance that because I will have only lived in my new home 2 months, I will get refused?
Am I better to take the finance now? If I take it now will it affect my mortgage offer which is written and approved at the moment ready for completion next week.
Thanks all

I wouldn't, under any circumstances, apply for new credit now. Mortgage checks can be done up to the last minute.
Take your chances after you've completed. You can always buy an old car to tide you over for a few months if needed.0 -
If you dont need the car till september then yes wait till then.0

As other posters have suggested I'd definitely not apply for any new loans until you close on your house. It's always better to figure out a transportation situation later than to jeopardize the purchase of your lifetime. Congrats on the home!0
