It depends what sort of assessment they are. There are those that test ability (maths, english, reasoning etc) and those clearly do have right and wrong answers.

There are also personality/ working style test where there technically arent right or wrong answers but in reality they will have a type of person they want and so if they want team players and you select the option that says you like working on your own then you're unlikely to be selected. On the basis of what you say, I am guess its this sort she did.

You should really answer them honestly as if you do like working on your own you arent going to enjoy a job where you're forced to work in a team and should change the jobs you are applying for rather than changing your answers. Back in reality however you would basically have to try and second guess what sort of person they want and answer appropriate to that.

So for a shelf stacker who'll be doing repetitive tasks they wont want someone that says its boring.

For a customer service person they wont want someone whos offended easily/ who speaks out of turn as often complaints are addressed at you as the company representative even if you personally did nothing wrong/ werent even involved in the incident - you just distance yourself and remember its the company they are "shouting at" not you personally.

Obviously these things are easier to get across in interview when you get to add explanations etc and then there is even less of a right answers as the "bored" type one you can say it is boring but you are good at coming up with self challenges, eg do 10 boxes in an hour rather than the normal 8, and so that keeps it interesting for you etc
