Mortgage and Divorce

Hi, I need some advice for a friend.
They have been seperated for years and now in order to get the ball rolling with the divorce, my friend needs him to sign the mortgage paperwork so she is the sole owner. This was previously agreed but only verbally, he pays nothing towards the mortgage.
The problem comes about that he lives in Doha and the mortgage paperwork has just been returned today marked as return to sender although it is quite clear he has received them and wrote return to sender on himself.
So what now? Does anyone have any advice? This applies to Scottish law so probably even more complicated.
Any advice at all appreciated, she will be going back to solicitor later but could just do with a bit of reassurance.
Thanks all.

Solicitor is the way to go. A financial consent order needs to be drawn up. Verbal recollections have no standing in law.0

Just do a search for divorce negotiator
Advertising by any chance?
Appears to so as you've posted the same elsewhere.

I'm not sure the spammer could help OP's friend even if they wanted to - their site says they deal with divorces in England and Wales, but OP explicitly says this is Scotland.0
