How long does a typical remortgage take?

A month to two months is what I'd tell the client to expect.
BTW, you do mean a remortgage, as in a new mortgage with a new lender on an existing property?
Some people seem to think asking your existing lender for a new deal is a remortgage. It isn't.I am a mortgage broker.
