Countrywide surveyors appeal or not to appeal?

Evening, just wondering if anyone out there has won an appeal with countrywide Surveyors? Our house got valued @£515k accepted offer £556k, I'm not sure whether appealing the valuation wil make a difference?
Any advice or experience would be great thanks!

Not if your buyer has finance in place that enables them to purchase at £556k. A different surveyor may give you a different answer. They use comparators of sales in your area from the land registry. A different surveyor may or may not = different comparators.0

What grounds would you appeal on?0

You can't appeal if the valuation wasn't for you. Presumably it was for your buyers and their lenders. As Peterward says if your buyers are still able to complete at £556k. ie they were taking out a low loan to value mortgage then they may still wish to proceed. What's more likely is that your buyers may try to renegotiate the price down.
Countrywide use local comparable sales. You can check these on sites like Rightmove by checking sold prices. Ignore "for sale" prices.0
