For anyone on EE and going on their hols, a couple of things I have found out.
EE offer you unlimited texts and calls for £2 a day, seems a cracking price for me!
If you get your currency at Debenhams, you also get a £5 voucher to spend that day instore (no min spend) Min transaction for currency is £50, so perhaps split it over a few days?

I listened to something about your topic of the evening the other day. There was 3 letters that you could put after the google URL that meant it would search all of the googles, and bring up any deleted (in Europe OR the US) results. Any idea what it was, as its bugging me now. Cheers.

No idea, sadly I've not heard that but I am now intrigued by it. Does anyone else know? Can you remember where you heard it? Was it on radio - if so, which station, what date and approx. what time? All I know about is going to google.com by clicking on the right hand 'use google.com' on google.co.uk's homepage. Although my system now :rotfl:seems to think :rotfl::rotfl:I want to use google.com all the time - now comes up with Amazon's American website for me and have to look for .co.uk.

I want this 'Streisand mode' search, where, from a Google based outside the jurisdiction, it brings up only the links people wanted deleted:rotfl:. It'd be a handy feature I feel.

I never knew that, you learn so much here.

possibly because they are widely used for transporting troops, as well as transporting staff to/from oil rigs and the like? They have a bit of a reputation for being involved in accidents

It was Radio 2, lunchtime, on Monday I think. It was 3 letters, I meant to write it down, but never got round to it, I was sure I would remember it. It was something like ETR to stand for entire, but isnt.

Okay, so off to the I-player to listen to the whole of Radio 2's lunchtime broadcasting from last Monday. Hope you're time period is right - and that you're not wasting my time on it!:D

[Edit: Ah - it's "ncr" - no country redirect.
    Phew - saved my time!!:rotfl:

The "ncr" doesn't mean you are searching all Google simultaneously - it's simply, as I understood it, a means of finding google.com. And then doing the search on there. So, sadly, but thanks in any event, it doesn't get us (doesn't get me) any further forward than what we already were.]

Its that bloke who has the chat program on it, he usually only does 2 topics, so one of them will be google, so the whole section should be of interest to you. Try about 13:00
