If I buy 2 or 3 lots of the 3 for £10 meat deals in M&S plus some other multibuy stuff so that it comes to over £50 pre discounts, can I use 2 of the Green Redeem vouchers ? Tomoorow will be the first time I get to ma store with SS and I'd appreciate your help please.
Sorry for the late reply, I'm playing catch up! It's probably too late for tbw but, just in case this helps someone else, here's my take on it...
The offer is ONE £5 voucher off any shop worth £25 or more so you cannot use two vouchers at the same time (even for over £50).
When I do 2 green redeem shops, I split my shopping into 2 separate lots in the trolley and pay for them separately. 2 x £10 meal deals (when they're running) is usually over £25 or I get one meal deal plus another deal (e.g. the picnic stuff or the 3 meats for £10). I add the original totals (before the deal kicks in) before I check out to make sure it's over £25. If in any doubt, I add 2 x 3 packs of coffee whips (currently on 2 for £2.50) as they are my all time favourites! It's amazing how often I am 'unsure' of my totals (especially considering I teach maths) so I am so am compelled to get coffee whips!
If anyone ever asked (which they never have to date) I would say I'm doing one shop for me and another for my imaginary friend! :rotfl:
Remember to take your own shopping bags as it's a faff to get carrier bags when using the self service (you have to ask an assistant) which draws attention to yourself. Mind you, I faff about so much at the SS tills the CAs usually feel sorry for me and are generally very kind and helpful! :T:T
Finally, remember reduced goods don't count towards the £25 spend but wine and flowers do.

I have just been out to feed the greenhouse plants and it looks like I will be picking my first tomatoes tomorrow
:j:j:j There are 2 that are just ripe and lots more on their way.
Also bought some carrot plants that produce little ball shaped carrots, pulled some of them today. No peeling or cutting (not that I do that stuff anyway)

I tried to sterilize my jars in the microwave but it started flashing and making a funny noise scaring me half to death:eek:
One thing I wasn't sure of... When you've transferred the jam into the jar it says cover... Does this mean with the lid? Or do you put the lid on when its cooled??
Tia:)
I wash then pop in the oven on about 50 degrees for a short while. I like to get them out and fill them when they are hot. I also tend to put some greaseproof paper between the jar and the lid, probably because I use peanut butter jars and this seals them better.
Just one other note - on homemade jam, on the very rare occasions that there is mould on the top when it is opened I just scrape it off and carry onNever had any problem from any homemade jam.
I take it you're using a funnel to fill them?
Yep, a proper jam funnel too (cheap from Mr T somewhen) - still spill a little bit though!Good afternoon everyone, it was a lovely sunny morning in East Anglia but the skies look ominously dark now.
I've just had a go on the higgledypie competition (many thanks for the link) but my arrow keys wouldn't work properly -they took me to one side of the screen then I got stuck there. Has anyone else had this problem?
Occasionally had the same problem - I click on the playing section of the screen and that normally sorts itWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

I just wanted to say thank you first for the morries v&f offer I managed to get ten suns with a womble I had found the night before at sadas then £50 worth of f&V for two very needy households. (My and my skint sisters)

so hence why I ended up on here.. its been a life saver!! :')
I have done the reeds and bacon as well so thanks op for that.
I am just about to a v s shop with reeds again. anyone got any suggestions of things to add?
