  • Hiya,

Dont know if anyone remembers me but I've been around on and off for ever!! lol

Had a bit of a bad time over the past couple of years but really feel I need to make a bit more of an effort to get my life back on track, so, strangely - this is my first step.

So, hello again - I'll probably be mostly lurking but it's nice to feel like I know like minded people and gives me something to get up for in the morning.

Hope everyone's doing ok and so sorry to hear about losses. :-(

    Glad to be back (again)

I've just watched the simple bracelet one and it reminds me of finger knitting which was all the rage when I was in primary school :rotfl:
Is it me or is this craze essentially crocheting with rubber bands? :)
:rotfl: French knitting and those plastic 'shag' bands were the rage in my youth

Told me I was 26, then an advert came up suggesting I try statins!

I'm going to bed soon. My day has been.....

House guests mother visited, with her boyfriend (what a thoroughly objectinal person he is ) it became clear within minutes what the problem is :( he had the audacity (after 4 months of being around) to tell me what a terribly disruptive influence Billy is on everyone :(

the upshot is, Billy wouldn't even entertain the idea of going home, even for a few days. And that makes me sad, I think he should spend time with his mother :( but that's not going to happen :(

instead.....we invited his siblings to stay for a week :o I really do think it's important he doesn't lose touch with them. So.....I currently have 5 kids to look after .......actually they have been fine and it's been a happy place tonight. We all went to the beach earlier and it was fab!
what a star you are fc :T i can't believe some mum's would side with some guy they've not even been with for long over their own child

    Morning everyone!

I have found something that may be of some use...

Download the McDonalds app and sing to win a free choc chip frappe or fruit smoothie, my singing is very bad but I still got one!Show them the screen in Mcdonalds to claim.

They did something similar a while back IIRC, I'm not sure but I would guess that if you uninstall the app and reinstall it you would get more?

Also free frappe in Cafe Nero on 02 priority and free cycling goody bag from Halfords with water bottle, puncture repair fit and energy drink for the next week.

And a big :T:T:T to Bubbs for bringing the M's deal over, I've never been so healthy!

doesn't work for me when i remove mcdonalds app :( is there a special technique to it?
