I'm wanting to find somewhere that does a proper dirty sausage and bacon sandwich. Not one of these poncy ones what's tarted up with posh bread and salad :eek:

Morning everyone - we were supposed to get a huge band of rain across the country apart from Norfolk - no idea what made them so special :rotfl: Wonder if it will rain ...

I've lost a slug overnight.

It was on the kitchen floor late last night - might have come in on one of the cats dishes because they were outside yesterday or even on a cat itself. I could not deal with it so I put a plastic box over it and somehow in the night its managed to slither underneath it and vanish :rotfl:

Totally agree with you there Westie, I find it quicker to get into the local town by bike than my OH does by car The funny thing is when people in Ferraris pull over to the left in queues to try and stop me getting past (and it is quite obvious when they do it), if it is near a path I just hop off, walk around them on the path, then hop back on and carry on (after smiling nicely at them :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:).

Yes that was an outrage the Whiskas disappearing from myl.
I did my shopping list very carefully that morning of the correct ones to buy, came home and it had gone off mysuperlist :mad:

So in the meantime I was dithering whether or not to return it- I was taking something else back for a refund at the same time, but I didnt. Then yesterday it went back on the list so I've scanned my receipt and it seems to have accepted it - now to see what happens.

One type of cat food - the bite, chew, lick and spit version is on offer in Waitrose 2 for £5.50 so I was hoping to find something else to go on the sada v waitrose list

Talking of slugs, I was talking to someone the other day who was telling me that their little one brought the classroom pet home from school last weekend. It was a snail.:o
