    Exactly!

!!!!!! do the same, sending mailing after mailing of MOCs and points, often with overlapping dates and over lapping categories and then there is always the hope of a till spit conditional spend so it draws you in again. And then you get worried about the left over mailing coupons in case you can't use them and then they might not send you any more :D

They rebuilt my local !!!!!! and in between it was a Portacabin store. The new store was open 6 months before I set foot in it so I did wean myself off !!!!!! at one time but now I am loitering in there as much as ever I was :D

I never really went in Ts until I learnt to drive, now I feel like I'm never out of them :rotfl:

Ooh, I've just bought strawberries and probably going to get more on the way home, all for jam-making. Could you please pass on the recipe? I normally just do 1lb of fruit and 1lb of sugar, but doesn't strawberry jam need something extra to make it set? I remember hearing something before about a squeeze of lemon?

I was doing 500g strawbs, 500g sugar, half a lemon and a knob of butter at the end :)
Rhosynbach posted a recipe on here and I just went with that and my Mums advice :)

Edit: I forgot to say I just used granulated sugar and had no problems (apparently it just takes a little longer to cook :) )

yes just add a good squeeze of lemon juice and it will set fine,

someone asked earlier about jam for kids mine love anything with strawberry, peach is really popular and raspberry cook fruit slightly then push through sieve before adding sugar. to remove the seeds as mine hate the seeds. it still has the pulp so not clear like a jelly.

it was dip that was asking

    :T thanx
I've never heard of peach jam.
Will be interesting to see just how many different jams the elite can come up with in the next week or so :D

Do I have to do something special with the jars? I've just been slapping them in the fridge with a lid on when I'm done (not that the contents have lasted very long :rotfl: )
