Thanks. I went ahead and booked. There is a code on jet2 which knocked 120 off and there is a sale on canaries, hence, cheaper today. Also got 31.50 on tcb tracked so total cost 630 down from 1100!!! (Also waiting for passports but sure it will be ok)

Thats good, when did you send yours off, ours have only been a week, I have had a text from them saying received and should be back in 3 weeks :D

    Morning all.
Managed to cancel my home insurance today before the auto renewal date for the first year ever :j
They wanted nearly £60 a month  when everyone else is asking between £20 and £30
Now to find a nice quote with cashback or some other incentive :D (we don't need any more meerkats!)

Have you tried Sheila's Wheels House Insurance. Have found it the best price for a few years. always cancel auto-renew and take out new policy. Renewed yesterday with £42 Cashback from Topcash.
Includes Home Emergency and Legal Protection. got Protected NCD, 75K contents, 3K away from home, accidental damage on Buildings and Contents, for £154, will be £112 with Cashback.
Have always got Cashback without problems, have also used both home emergency and legal protection, excellent service on both and does not effect no claims discount.
Using Legal protection at the moment to claim for a fall I had in January in Mr Shoes.

They are all £1 in my local so I didn't buy instore but will instead do order for hd where I'm hoping they will work out better than free
