Afternoon all!
Penultimate update to the Homebase saga: phonecall today to check I was happy with the goods (I was), to apologise for not collecting (we're leaving them outside for collection on Weds while we're at work) and to offer me £75 as an apology for all the issues :j
Just went to HB and tried to get 18 oxo cubes, but apparently only the vegetable were 89p, not the beef, although I'm sure it said 89p on the shelf. Didn't have time to go and double-check though unfortunately.
Also, whilst there I noticed Fairy all in one lemon liquid tabs for dishwasher, 70 pack for £7.99. Is this a good deal? I thought it was reasonable for non-RTC tabs, but I normally buy Finish or own brand so I'm not so sure on Fairy's standard pricing.
Morries have a lot of (to my mind) expensive prices on dishwasher tablets - and :eek:they are (supposedly) RTC prices.
Five quid, 'reduced to clear' (or maybe "reduced" to "clear";) - perhaps the word "to" is the only word I can believe in any of that?:rotfl:) - ain't gonna clear any of them to me;);).0 -

Getting better rates can be dependent on tying your money up for a couple of years though, so make sure your mum is ok with this.Tsb current account 5%. 2,000
First direct current account then you can get 6% regular saver. 300 per month.
Santander 123 account 3%. Also good for direct debits.
:T
TSB x 2 Current accounts (£4k+) + FD 1st Account with a Reg Saver for any surplus.
Or if you only want to open one account then Club Lloyds Current account - £5k sorted.
Read T&Cs though as some may need DDs/SOs transferred over.:grouphug:Official MSE canny forumite and HUKD VIP badge member
