Still here waiting for the penalties to start now :rotfl:

Ahh footy isn't my thing. Life would be easier if it was, but it just isn't.
I'm on a climb down from Glastonbury. I feel better for watching it on telly after the one show decided to show the loos......before there's 4 ft of poops in them :D:o :rotfl:

    Evening all

Was to be a nsd but achcia sent me a £20 of £60 and they had a couple of pictures I really likes so got these along with a mandolina. One of the pictures I have been eying up in JL for ages so a reasonably low cost.

Tomorrow mum is taking me to collect my JL order of toy trucks from their toy sale and we will use our june cake vouchers. Then if can park near enough to m7s in asf0rd (will check till list first) we are hoping to use up a couple of green vouchers and get a nice fridge full of food. Choice will be limited as monday.
Final job tomorrow will use last codes to get some socks for the troup boxes:T

If day runs smoothly will then call into argos and collect the planes I have reserved.

All of this while trying to keep off feet as much as possible. Should be fun.

Hope you have all had nice weekends.

    V x

    I'm sorted now.

Some friends of mine went to a different T and managed to find some for me

    Hopefully you find some yet

I've read back the last 8 pages but can't find out what these Tesco F&F vouchers are - where to find them or how the deal works - I'd be very grateful if someone could explain.

This place is like a drug and I need to give it up:o:eek::eek: but the next glitch or fix feels so good:eek::eek:

You're absolutely right Nerfdad. I've only been shopping the Elite way for a few weeks but I'm already hooked! Every time I come home exhausted (having taken 4 hours to do shopping that used to take me less than an hour) I say, "Never again," but the thrill of the chase is definitely addictive and I get an adrenalin buzz from using APGs etc!

It's great to save money and it feels soooooooo good to be getting something back from these shops that have exploited us all for years!

Never bothered with stuffing a chicken. :o

But try a layer of sliced onions (fillers)
    layer of apples sliced
    chicken or belly strips
    and coat with stuffing.
    cover with tin foil.

    Bloody lush. :D

Sounds lovely Scamps but I have a few questions:
    1. do you fry the onions first?
    2. do you use cooking or eating apples?
    3. do you use a whole chicken or chicken pieces?
    4. How many packets of stuffing>
    5. do you mix the stuffing with water first or sprinkle it over dry?
As you can probably tell, I'm a stuffing novice! :o

Last post before bed! For those of you who have loads of strawberries (or other soft fruit) - I freeze berries then use them in jellies to avoid them going mushy. I make the jelly up as usual and let it cool for about 5 -10 minutes then add lots of frozen berries and leave the jelly to set. The setting jelly holds the berries in their shape as they thaw and stops them being too soggy! Yummy!
