I would also recommend doing a pottery course in an adult education class I wanted some specific tiles for my kitchen, but could not afford them so I went and made them. I continued attending for years as I loved it x

Yeah, that's what I'm looking at doing, too. I've done some bits and pieces of pottery making and decorating/glazing recently, and really enjoyed it. There's a college near me that does courses in it, was talking to someone who goes, and it sounds really good.

The Sharpie ceramics decorating is great for individual pieces - a friend did a plate with just an outline of his hand and the hands of his two young sons overlaid, really simple but effective - but also for multiple pieces; a friend who's getting married soon is doing it for wedding favours, mugs with people's names hand-drawn on and some artwork special to them.

Good morning everyone, not entirely sure what the weather is up to today, but it doesn't matter one iota. If it rains I do inside stuff, if it is dry I weed :D
