Hi. I noticed this a couple of days ago on the APG - Basics Lemonade gone up to 20p in Sains:eek:. Now -:mad::mad::mad:ruddy Sainbobs putting prices up on the still and the sparkling water. Also the Basics Mushy Peas - up to 20p, tinned Custard the same and the Sage & Onion Stuffing (although there I suspect buy Paxo vs T). I consider that it is not worth paying more for the Sainsbobs versions. So - the SP water is now vs M at 18p:( or vs T N/A for Northern Ireland checks. This may be an aberration - as Sains. did, according to msm, put the water up to 20p before, last October, but but it back down again soon after. Just a way of making an extra 3p off every shopper that buys one over that period.
At least that's ruled out any Sainsbobs comp using one each of the waters and then buying a further six items, in order words overbuying and paying too much, for me:money:. Hadn't seen much on vs S anyway (after 3x Power Scourers bought) - may or may not have changed, I need to catch up - and may stick to vs M shopping (and then lose more because of N/As:rotfl:).0 -

Saw a receipt yesterday but it was by the trolleys right outside the entrance with lots of people around. I waited for five minutes before I plucked up the courage to drop my bag nearby and pick it up. So glad I did - turned out to be worth £5.43! My best one yet.“Life moves pretty fast. Bacon, gammon , crisps and chocolate just come through fine for me.
I did find a bargain but not in food or drink.
I bought a pony tail cover, the ones like hair. ANDREW BARTON NEXT TO NATURE PONYTAIL COVER in Perfect Platinum. Priced at £4 went through at £1 bc 50022852037749Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.0 -
Here's a drawing that a young lad did of me a couple of days ago - the resemblance is uncanny;)
He also wrote on the back "I like peacocks" (spelled 'peecocks'). When I asked him why he wrote that, he replied (in a tone of 'that's a silly question'), "Because I like peacocks":rotfl:'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'
