Does anyone else get really excited at getting the balance on their debts to come down? I just got a credit card statement through and it's just over £8000, with the payment I will make the debt will go down into the £7000 bracket. i know technically it's only one payment different than it is at the moment, but I like seeing the big numbers reduce!
Am I alone in this?

Not at all, I have a loan which will finish in April 2015, it was £12k and I have had it four long years, it's now under £2k and it's brilliant seeing it go down, not much longer! Well done you paying a big chunk off, keep going!0

What is annoying is logging in online but the payment to a CC hasn't yet shown - I like to see instant impact, not delayed by 3-5 working days!0

I get so excited about these things I made a pie chart and update it every month. I see my paid off slice of the pie getting bigger every month. Goodness only knows how I'll contain myself when it goes over half way! (about three months away I think)...Debt at highest - June 2013 - 26k/ March 2018 - 2500
Proud to be dealing with my debts0 -
