Settlement figure advice

Hi
I owe Halifax 2500 for an overdraft. They are letting me repay in small amounts but when i ask what they would accept as a settlement figure they say they can't suggest a figure.
Does anyone know what kind of figure they would accept to settle?

Unless it is in default, they won't accept a settlement. They don't have to.

If it's not in default just pay it off as fast as you can. Don't get a default for such a small amount unless you have absolutely no other option - they hang around for too long on your credit report!
