Robinson way not provided credit agreement

Hi I'm hoping someone can tell me what to do next.
The story so far is my husband has 2 debts with rob way £2397 and £4494. He has been paying £10 a month on both debts for a while.
We have been saving money up to try and pay reduced settlements on the debts to get them cleared. So far I have wrote to rob way and offered £800 for the smaller debt. There response was they would accept £1798. I replied saying we were unable to raise this amount and only had £800 available from a relative who was helping us out.
I also asked for them to provide a copy of the original credit agreement (for smaller debt). This was on 26th march, they replied on 3rd April with two letters. First one was about reduced settlement amount , asking for monthly income and expenditure (do not want to give this) and what other debts we have. Second letter is regarding copy of agreement, saying they have requested it and have put account temporarily on hold pending documentation.
Since then on 17th May another letter received to say they have not yet received reply from original creditor. The account is still temporarily on hold.
So my question is, what do we do now?
Also am in the process of sending another prove it letter for the larger debt.
Thanks for reading

Hi there,
You don't do anything.
They have informed you they are contacting the original creditor to get the requested paperwork to comply with your CCA request.
They will either provide you with this when/if the creditor finds it, or,
tell you they cant find it, and are closing the account.
Making this request automatically puts your account on hold, so make the same request for the other debt.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Stop paying both until they get the CCA.
Are both these debts on your hubby's CRA?0 -
Presumably for cards or loans rather than overdraft?
If so, CCA the other one and don't pay until they send it.
If they don't, this will help a reduced settlement figure, either with them or the next company they sell it in to.:beer:0
