Payday is Thursday every week, normally in the bank by the time I get up at 6am, last week had to chase it up as still wasn't there at 9pm (was paid by 10pm) had payments go out causing me to go overdrawn but employer saying I wasn't paid late as I still got it on Thursday. Right or wrong????

What does your contract say? It is advisable to allow a few days between pay day and when your bills go out.0

If payday is a thursday and it went in on the thursday it would'nt be late, it just went into your bank later than usual..could of been a bank delay. It's never a good idea to have your bills go out the same day you are due to be paid, as already said you really should leave a couple of days in between. If you have incured bank charges this is for you too pay as said before you wages were paid in on the orrect day.0

And employee daft for not allowing a time cushion between wages going in and bills coming out.0
