It stops here!
We have managed to save money, and although it was for a deposit, circumstances mean it is for renting a place of our own. We can afford it on OH 's salary, but I want us to share the costs as much as possible so we can afford to save up for a mortgage deposit.
I am on a 0 hours contract and when I first started I worked full time for 3 months until my hours dropped to one day a week. I have been told my hours will go up in Aug / Sept, but I need to live until then.
As well as a job, I run my own creative business. I make things to sell at fairs and online, as well as teach other people in creative activities.
In my mind I should be able to do this, but it seems I am stuck in a rut, and I could do with some help. I have lived in the same overdraft since leaving uni about 8 years ago.
So Help Please!!

Hi Louise,
Best if you fill in an S.O.A (statement of affairs) so the good folk here can see where your money is going, and possibly offer advice as to where savings can be made.
You will find the S.O.A calculator here :

thanks
