I sent the DCA the letter asking for proof of credit agreement and got no response instead received this letter.
And did you send it more than 2 weeks ago?
If so, they are not compliant and in default of the Act.BSC No 248

Payment of a £1? No didn't know I had to. Got the letters Saturday so sent the recorded letters today.
I used the prove it letter on the stocky board on here.0 -
OK, I understand now. I read your first post as if you had sent a CCA request.
I see you sent the prove-it letters to both parties, so sit back and wait.BSC No 248

Only a Judge can request to see your income and expenditure, not some two bit DCA/Solicitor to rent.
For god's sake Harvey, why do you insist on posting things which you know to be false? Do you not actually want to help the OP?
OP, Harvey is, as normal, lying, as he wants to amuse himself, not help you. Anyone can request to see your income and expenditure, not just a judge.
You are not obliged to show them anything, but if you wish to offer reduced payments based on your circumstances they may be more willing to accept this offer if they can see that you are basing it on sensible calculations, based on your income and expenditure.
You need to decide if it's in your interests to show them, or not.0 -

Not sure how i'm lying when its the truth - like you have just said your self; "You are not obliged to show them anything"
OP - offer them what YOU can afford. It's YOUE money. YOU tell THEM what YOU are paying.
Go down the correct routes; send a CCA with the £1.00 postal order and/or the prove it letter.
Ignore BillJones, he just has issues with me.
Anyone can request your I&E, but only a Judge can actually demand to see it. Not some two bit DCA.0 -
Anyone can ask to see personal details, but you are not obliged to give ANYONE any personal details whatsoever.
DCA`s send out these income/expenditure forms all the time, but there is no legal requirement, or any other requirement, that says you must fill them in, although the DCA would have you believe otherwise.
Of course if you are trying to negotiate a suitable repayment plan, it would be in your interest to fill them in, however, if you don't want to, don't, simple as that.

I do hate DCA's and their tactics to scare people.
I've been dealing with these scumbags for many years for lots of people and I always come out on top.0 -
Wow didn't want to cause such conttaversey thought we'd all be on the same page but it's definitely good to know they legally can't demand you to complete the E&I form.
I'm on maternity pay at the moment after having my son on Christmas Day and that's due to finish very soon so have very little income as it is.
Another year and it'd be 6 years.
Just be interesting to see if they can provide proof of the credit agreement. Guess only time will tell.
Seems like because it is coming up to 6 years there trying everything in the book to get the money before then.0 -
