Student mortgages

Hi. My husband and I currently have a mortgage but we need to move due to growing children in the same room. He works full time and I am a full time nursing student but I still work regular part time hours. We have never had a problem paying our mortgage. Is it possible to get a new mortgage whilst I'm a student, and would this make interest rates higher?
