I ordered some Paul Mitchell children's shampoo and conditioner for my young grandchildren who have curly thick hair and these keep it under control! They are sold as a pair in their own rope handled box for £16 and I am taking it abroad with me later this week when we go to visit them for a holiday.
I received my parcel together with a few other hair shampoos/conditioners for adults. On opening the box everything was very wet and covered with shampoo! On closer inspection it was from the children's shampoo, the top push button was open.
I contacted them, by phone, and explained the situation. I was asked to take photo's and send them to them, which I duly did.
They have come back and apologised and offered me a 10% refund on the set mounting to £1.60p. Needless to say I have refused as neither I nor they know how much has been lost out of the bottle. I would just like it replaced. They have refused to do this saying they will arrange for me to send the bottle back, but no replacement.
Am I right in asking for a replacement or should I accept the £1.60 which has really annoyed me?
