Paid debt

Hi have recently paid a debt off with Metropolitan Collection Sevices through a !!!!!! offer, I did it the correct way, in writing with a template letter stating I wished this to be removed from my credit score and they wrote back in agreement.
I had a paid receipt in th epost showing my account is now £nil.
Checked my crdeit score with today, the debt is still showing £9.00 owed and still in default, i know I am in default but how do I go about getting this £9.00 removed?
Thanks in advance.
18 months ago £20.000 in debt and now only £5,000.
Long road but getting there

how long ago did you pay? as it can take a while to show on your file0

5 weeks or so, but the total has been adjusted at Noddle it is just showing the £9.00 which seems odd to me as it was nearer 7k then.0

What about the other CRAs? Noddle only updates once per month.
Use the "something wrong?:let us know" link under the entry to add a dispute via noddle, who will then pass the dispute on to MCS.
Also query/dispute direct with MCS.
Between those 2 I imagine it will get sorted, but if not you can take it further after 8 weeks.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

On noodle there is an option to dispute an entry at the click of a button0

Tried the "let us know" button on Noddle. Too soon to take any action. I will ring Metropolitan in the week to discuss.0
