Firewyrm your category names made me lol
I think in this case you can provide information but you can't get someone to implement it... think they would rather decide they have wasted money than try to understand it! Ah well.
No need to be quite so rude, I understand it perfectly it's just not for me.
Firewyrm many thanks you are a star.Every Penny's a Prisoner.

So pleased you posted those instructions Firewrym, I've been toying with the idea of this software, I'm a total excel geek and have a whizzy spreadsheet but I do like the look of this software as its more in line with how I like to manage money so will give it a trial!Santander 0% £1,529.94

TCM have you tried the classes yet? You can sign up to them here: http://www.youneedabudget.com/support/training-and-education
You are able to ask questions via chat and I couldn't get my head around the process they use until I attend several classes.
If you aren't able to do any of the times they run the classes check out the recordings of an earlier class here: http://www.youneedabudget.com/support/article/introduction-to-ynab-class-materials
You've spent the money already so you may as well take a few hours to learn how to make it work and they often give different ways of doing things so you can find the way that works best for you. I've only been using it for a week and signed up to the classes immediately and would most likely be completely lost if I hadn't done the classes.Starting Mortgage Balance: £264,800 (8th Aug 2014)

Ah yes...my bad
I forgot to mention that this was a side-effect of the software. I have to ration myself to once a week, or I would be in it all day every day tinkering with the budget.Debt Free! Long road, but we did it
