Referral to who? Underwriters are ultimately the ones that make the decision based on the facts of the case. The more complex or unusual the case will result it being passed higher the chain until it reaches someone with the correct level of authority.

It was referred by the advisor because I told him I had defaults, senior underwriter looked at our case and said no referal needed.
If I'm totally honest I have found the whole thing very stressful and haven't got a clue what's going on

Just a quick update, we have our valuation booked for this week.
Been told not to worry everything is fine and if nothing changes in our circumstances we will have our mortgage.
Until then I continue to panic!
The wait goes on!
