That's it. I'm never leaving the DFW board ever again!

Recently I've had the daring to spread my wings and venture into other boards on the MSE forum. Can I just say that it confirmed to me what I already really knew. That basically, the best people on MSE are in here, so why would you ever want to go elsewhere?

There are so many trolls, weirdos, schadenfreunds and to be honest downright nasty people out there that I'm never leaving here again. Well except to go into the MFiT thread that I created on the MFW board.

This: was my last post ever outside the hallowed grounds of DFW!!!!

Ah.. safe and sound in here :)

I love you guys. Never let me venture out again!!

Actually MSE isn't all that bad...

But certainly DFW is the best of it even then.

At least on MSE I've never heard "YOUVE DISRESPECTED MY FAMILY! NO ONE DISREPECTS MY FAMILY! I WILL TRACK YOU! I WILL HUNT YOU DOWN! I WILL SLIT YOUR THROAT LIKE THE DOG YOU ARE!"

    I don't stray from DFW either... ;)

Well I had previously declined his kind offer to meet up in Toronto for a drink and a discussion. He did assume that I was Canadian, just because I could spell and punctuate.

I know what you mean dithering dad, I feel safest here, the MFiT and money saving old style. Elsewhere I post and run and then creep back later to see if i've been shouted out!

The only other place where u get a friendly welcome like DFW is on the OS board - I have posted a few stupid questions there also. I tend to find that if u post on one of the other boards, u wait ages for an answer, as there's nowhere near as many people out there as there is here in the comfort of our 'home'.

DD -- just read ur post and I'm intrigued to read the rest of the thread - seems there's some not very nice people out there.... still, that's what u get for straying from the path!;)

    Welcome back :D

lol. I'm going to delete all my subscriptions so that if I get sl agged off in there I won't know about it and so won't care.

It's funny how easy it is to get drawn in to the arguments and when the dust has settled and you log off, you feel all dirty and used, well I do anyway.

I have to say that I don't like that 'dirty and used' feeling. Well, except after sex with Mrs Dither, but that a nice dirty and used feeling :o .
